Chrysanthos Tsouroullis
Chrysanthos Tsouroullis studied Law and Journalism at the University of Athens and obtained diplomas in ‘Crisis Management and Communication Management in the Media’ and ‘Leadership in the Development of Economic Reforms’ from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
After his studies, he worked as a journalist in the local newspaper ‘Politis.’ In 2000, he presented the night news bulletin at Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CyBC), Cyprus’ public broadcasting service. In 2002, he became the editor-in-chief and presenter of a daily news show at CyBC and soon after became the anchorman of the Main News Bulletin while continuing to publish articles in local newspapers.
In 2007, he started working with DIAS Group (the largest Mass Media Group in Cyprus) as editor-in-chief and presenter of a daily news show on SIGMA TV. He also presented ‘60 Minutes,’ a successful investigative news magazine (2008-2014). Soon, he became the anchorman of Sigma TV’s Main News Bulletin as well as the political editor of the SIMERINI newspaper. Since 2012, he has also taken over the management and editor-in-chief role of the Group’s news department.
During his career, he has successfully served as the moderator in presidential and other political debates, and political, scientific, and business conferences.
In 2014, he was appointed CEO of the DIAS Group and SIGMA Television, a position he still holds.
